Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring an Estimator II at our Las Vegas location. You’ll produce timely, precise estimates for vehicle reconditioning on both wholesale and retail consignments, using Manheim’s tools to ensure consistency and quality.

You’ll collaborate with clients to secure approvals, document repairs, and track status while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of related field experience; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of related field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement / purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
• Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participates in and support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

Hourly base pay rate is $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we’re hiring an Estimator II. Join a dynamic team where accuracy and efficiency drive client satisfaction. As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for producing timely and precise estimates for reconditioning services on consigned vehicles for both wholesale and retail clients. You’ll assess vehicle damage, document recommended repairs, and collaborate with clients for approval. Estimates will be created using Manheim’s proprietary tools to ensure consistency and quality.

Minimum:
