Job summary

Atlantic Auto Group on Long Island seeks an Automotive Dispatcher/Shop Manager to efficiently dispatch repairs, supervise staff, and ensure profitability while delivering world-class customer service. A high school diploma or GED, post-secondary automotive training, and supervisory experience are required.

ASE certification is a plus and a clean driving record is necessary. In this role you will manage workflow, maintain updated knowledge of warranties and TSBs, and ensure all documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with post-secondary automotive training.
• Two years of dealer-level or large facility experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• ASE certification a plus and a clean driving record required.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch work based on technician skill level while ensuring profitability.
• Quality control and road testing of completed repairs.
• Maintain knowledge of warranties, campaigns, and service information.
• Ensure service level targets are met and documentation is compliant.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with departments; participate in meetings and training.
