Job summary

Ted Britt Automotive Group in Chantilly, VA is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. You will perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and ensure repairs meet quality standards.

Eligible candidates should have a minimum of two years of shop experience, with ASE or manufacturer certs preferred. Strong reading of manuals and SBs, and the ability to work both independently and with a team are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years automotive technician experience; dealership experience preferred.
  • ASE certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) preferred.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
