Job summary

Daimler Truck Financial Services USA LLC is seeking a Dealer Credit Analyst to analyze the financial condition of commercial vehicle dealerships and affiliate businesses for new or continuing lines of credit. You will monitor borrowers, assess risk, and communicate with dealer principals, CFOs, and field teams to ensure sound credit decisions.

The role requires a BS/BA or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience or 6 years in lieu of a degree, and a strong background in credit analysis

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience or 6 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in credit analysis and automotive commercial underwriting.
• Financial statement review and cashflow analysis.
• Knowledge of commercial lending or dealer finance.
• Risk assessment or portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze and submit new credit requests, and file reviews to the Dealer Credit Manager with sound explanations.
• Perform monthly reviews of dealership financial statements and make recommendations based on guidelines.
• Make recommendations regarding subordination, guarantees, state laws, UCCs and related agreements.
• Prepare and maintain dealer document files per procedure.
• Provide daily service to DRM's/RFM's, Region Managers, dealer personnel, and management regarding credit files and financials.
• Review wholesale inventory and book audits and advise on issues and exceptions.
• Communicate with dealer personnel during all stages of the credit process.
