Job summary

Liberty Collision Center is seeking an Estimator to assess vehicle damages and determine repair costs and timelines. You will negotiate with insurers and clearly communicate costs to customers, ensuring a smooth, professional experience.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of collision repair, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment. You will draft repair work orders and maintain meticulous repair records.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of collision repair processes, techniques and materials.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle structure to remove/replace damaged components.
• Demonstration of safety precautions required in performing the work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Demonstrated physical agility and coordination in climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Strong negotiation skills and commitment to servicing the customer.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Examines all damaged parts requiring repair, replacement, or repainting.
• Assesses vehicle damage through inspections.
• Estimates the cost of labor and parts to repair damage.
• Prepares insurance forms to show repair costs.
• Communicates repair costs and conditions to customers professionally.
• Drafts work orders with required repairs and enters them into CollisionRight’s system.
• Keeps a record of all repairs in the company file.
