Ideal Tridon Group is seeking an Automatic Clamp Machine Set-Up Operator to run the ACM and clamp press on our Tennessee shop floor. This role supports production goals with precise setup, calibration, and maintenance in a climate controlled facility.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of hands-on mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting. Expect 2nd or 3rd shift with shift differentials.

Job Summary

The Automatic Clamp Machine (ACM) Set-Up Operator will operate the automatic clamp assembly machine and press.

Shift Schedule

• 2nd 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday
• 3rd 11:00pm - 7:00am Sunday-Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate Range

$22.75 - $25.19

• 2nd Shift Includes $1.00 Differential
• 3rd Shift includes $1.10 Differential

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sets up and calibrates machinery and equipment, according to production specifications and instructions.
• Adjusts machine settings, parameters, and controls as needed to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste, and meet production targets and deadlines.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery and equipment, to ensure proper functioning and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions or adjustments to resume production and prevent a recurrence.
• Records production data, including machine settings, material usage, production output, downtime, and quality control results, in production logs or computerized systems.
• Follows safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment for oneself and others.
• Collaborates with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and address production-related issues or concerns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required.
• One year of related machine setup operation or other relevant hands-on mechanical experience is required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
• May occasionally climb stairs, drive forklifts, and operate equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
