Job summary

Flexcar in El Monte, CA is seeking an Auto Claims Support Specialist to act as the primary liaison between members and claims partners. You’ll manage the damage recovery process and provide status updates to enhance tracking.

You will triage incident reports, gather information from members, review claims files, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient resolution and accurate billing. This role is onsite with competitive hourly pay and full benefits from day one.

Responsibilities

• Triage incident reports to guide members and field teams.
• Consult with members by phone and email to gather incident details.
• Review claims files for incident reports, damage assessments, invoices, and subrogation triggers.
• Coordinate between market teams, damage writers, third-party claims administrator, and members.
• Review member history and incident details to balance risk and eligibility guidelines.
• Identify escalation paths for fast resolution with Care, Security, Risk, Billing, and Field Operations teams.
• Process customer billing notifications and invoices timely.
• Audit claims, invoices, payments, and payment plans to ensure recovery.
• Contribute ideas to improve service and recovery rates.

About the Role:

As aFlexcarAuto ClaimsSupport Specialist,you'llact as the primary liaisonbetween our members and our internal/external claims and incident partners.You'llprovide world class member service while managing the entire damage recovery process, including reviewing past, current, and future incident reports to ensure member incident reports are processed efficiently with an eye toward improving damage fee recovery. Your role also includes providing reports and status updates to enhance tracking efforts.

WhatYou’llDo:

• Triage incident reports to ensure our members and our field teams know what to expect
• Consult with members both over the phone and via email to gather information on their incident
• Review claims files for completed incident reports, damage assessments, deductible invoices, and trigger subrogation reviews
• Act as aliaisionbetween our market team, damage writers, third party claims administrator, and our members
• Review customer history and incident details, balancing low-risk and low-damage cases against standard eligibility guidelines
• Identifyescalation paths to ensure fast resolution of claims by working in tandem with Care, Security, Risk, Billing, and Field Operations teams
• Process customer billing notifications and invoicesin a timely manner
• Audit claims, invoices, payments, and paymentplansto ensure successful damage recovery
• Be adaptable to new initiatives and contribute withnew ideasand ways we can better service our members while enhancing damage fee recovery

Compensation Transparency (California – SB 1162)

The hourly pay range for this position in California is$27.00 – $29.50 per hour.

This rangerepresentsthereasonably expectedpay range for this role within California. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on:

• Experience
• Skills and competencies
• Geographic location
• Internal equity considerations

This position is paid on an hourly basis and is eligible for overtimein accordance withCalifornia wage and hour laws.
