Job summary

Sedgwick, a leader in claims management, is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto and Property Damage. You will analyze and process auto and liability property damage claims, document files, and ensure accurate coding per policy.

You will develop action plans to meet deadlines, pursue subrogation, and communicate with insureds, clients, and brokers to drive timely resolutions. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (licensing as needed), familiarity with personal/commercial lines, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses required where applicable.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and salvage-related costs.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms desirable.
• Strong written and spoken communication; presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; PC literate.
• Analytical, interpretive, organized, and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims with proper documentation and coding.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and drive timely resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and conducts coverage and damage analysis.
• Performs other duties and supports quality programs; travels as required.
