Your Role :

As an Associate Auto Claims Advisor, your responsibilities include handling non-injury claims. You will verify and explain coverages, conduct liability investigations, and advise customers on liability decisions. You will set expectations about the claims process, obtain police reports and witness statements, coordinate with other adjusters, and keep members informed of claim status.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto and property damage claims.
  2. Manage a diary system to review and resolve claims within state compliance guidelines.
  3. Open claims, gather information from involved parties, and document files.
  4. Explain policies, coverages, and appropriate actions to customers.
  5. Communicate with customers and repair facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  6. Arrange and handle repairs, rentals, towing, and negotiate storage as needed.
  7. Apply estimating standards for claims of varying complexity.
Training :

14-week virtual training combining classroom and hands-on experience, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PT, starting 08/12/2024.

Requirements :
  • High School Diploma / GED or 2 years of customer-facing virtual experience.
  • Ability to work remotely and meet work-from-home requirements.
  • Adjuster license may be required by state.
Preferred Skills :
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Property and Casualty industry experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work any shift between 5:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. PST, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal and computer navigation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds.
  • Participation in company culture initiatives and willingness to travel as needed.
