Job summary

Classic Collision is looking for an experienced auto body technician to join our Florida team. You will disassemble vehicles, identify repairs to minimize time, and plan work from initial assessment to final assembly.

The role requires a background in collision repair, a valid driver’s license, and a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. ASE/I-CAR certifications are preferred; training and career advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle and assist collision estimators in assessing damage and planning repairs.
• Identify all needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures and follow work orders for listed operations.
• Access damaged areas by removing upholstery and components as needed and protect parts.
• Mend damaged body by hammering, filling dents, and welding replacement parts; ensure gaps meet standards.
• Operate hand and power tools including welders and spray guns.
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before paint.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test drive for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties and comply with procedures and safety guidelines.
