Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Honolulu. You will assess and repair vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition, disassembling and reassembling components, welding, replacing parts, and repainting as needed.

You'll work with the team to meet KPIs, ensure safety, and deliver a superior customer experience. A high school diploma or equivalent and a technical program or apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; restore chassis/frame alignment.
• Weld or fit parts, prep and repaint vehicles per spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
