Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Denton, TX to provide meticulous, high-quality repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles following our WOW standards to ensure speed, quality and customer excellence.

You’ll plan repairs, use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers, and prepare cost estimates for customers. A high school diploma or tech program is required, along with hands‑on auto body training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of tech program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of auto body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using prescribed tools and methods.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles to factory specs.
