Job summary

Classic Collision Burlington Repair Center in Burlington, NC is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join our team. You will complete disassembly, repairs, and reassembly to restore vehicles to industry standards.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, integrity, and teamwork. Requirements include 2-3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.
• Integrity, respect and accountability at every level and interaction.
• Customer service orientation to build satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and planning repairs.
• Ensure all required repairs are identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures following the work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas; store parts properly.
• Repair body panels by hammering, filling, welding and aligning parts to industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools such as welders, soldering equipment, cutting torch, hammers, wrenches, sanders, and spray guns.
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before handing to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
