Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous repair and customer-focused service. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align frames, replace damaged parts, and ensure quality workmanship that supports speed and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include calculating cost estimates, using tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters, and painting to spec.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and either technical training or a formal apprenticeship.
• Proven ability to interpret repair orders and follow procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of auto body repair methods and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle bodies and frames.
• Replace damaged sections and related parts, including glass and interior components.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint per factory specs or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
