Crash Champions in Stafford, VA is seeking an experienced auto body technician to examine damage, plan repairs, and coordinate with the team to keep work on schedule. You will perform high-quality repairs, using frame machines and precise measuring data, while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires frame machine operation, knowledge of vehicle repair processes, and the ability to supervise apprentices when needed. A thorough background check is required.

Qualifications

• Frame machine operation and safety.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent.
• Body repair certification preferred.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works with team on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and components to access areas for repair.
• Participates in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
