Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced collision repair technician at our Dripping Springs, TX location to perform comprehensive collision repairs and preparation for estimates. You will work closely with Collision Estimators to disassemble, assess damage, and plan repairs.

You will follow safety procedures, use a variety of tools, and ensure repairs meet industry standards. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Must pass background check.
• Strong customer-service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Ensure all required repairs are identified to minimize supplements.
• Plan work procedures and follow work orders for all operations.
• Remove upholstery and related components to access damaged areas; store parts securely.
• Repair body damage by hammering, filling, or welding; fit replacement parts and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before handoff to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Adhere to Classic Collision SOPs, safety rules, and guidelines.
