Gerber Collision & Glass in Munster, IN, is hiring an Auto Body Technician responsible for delivering a superior customer experience through precise repair work. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, maintaining speed, quality, and safety in a busy shop environment.

You will plan repairs, prepare estimates, and collaborate with teammates to meet KPIs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical training or an apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of tool usage and repair procedures.

Responsabilités

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles per factory specs or equivalents.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and timelines.
