Job summary

Classic Collision in Pelham, AL is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join our team. You will disassemble vehicles, assess damage, plan and perform repairs, and ensure quality finishes.

The role requires a 2-3 year collision repair background, a valid driver’s license, and a strong customer-service mindset. You will work with a range of tools and equipment, maintain safety standards, and participate in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment with paid holidays and a 401K

Qualifications

• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Identify repairs to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure following work orders.
• Remove upholstery and other components to access damaged areas as needed.
• Mend damaged body panels, welds, and replace parts; fit and finish to industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welding, cutting torch, sander, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before final inspection.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
