Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join its shop in the Jacksonville area. The role requires 2-3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a customer-focused mindset.

You will work with a supportive team, follow safety procedures, and contribute to delivering high-quality vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble components, operate welding and finishing tools, and ensure repairs meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of collision repair experience.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assess vehicle to support Estimators in preparing a 100% Repair Plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures according to work orders.
• Gain access by removing upholstery and related parts as needed; protect parts during handling.
• Repair body damage by hammering/filling and welding; fit parts and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, torches, sander, etc.).
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before painting.
