You will perform high-quality repairs, using frame machines and related tools, and may supervise apprentices. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and a large pay range based on flag pay and commissions.

Qualifications

• Frame machine operation and safety knowledge.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Willingness to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with team about repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, wiring, and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power or hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures as needed.
