Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repairs.
• Communicate repair status with the team.
• Perform quality repairs with on-time focus.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, cycle time.
• Dismantle upholstery and components to access areas.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Grind and sand repaired surfaces with power/hand tools.
• Guide an apprentice in tasks and procedures when needed.
