Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and coordinate with team to keep on-time status. You will perform quality repairs and decide when to repair vs replace components, ensuring safety and cost efficiency.

Qualified candidates will have frame machine experience, industry certifications, knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, I-CAR welding certification, and ability to supervise apprentices while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Must have experience using a frame machine and performing skilled body repairs.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer required.
• Ability to analyze measuring data and supervise repair personnel.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates progress with others on repair status.
• Performs high-quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes components to access areas and participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power/hand tools.
• Directs apprentices and explains procedures when needed.
