Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Pittsburgh is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align components while maintaining speed and quality standards.

The role requires completing a technical program or apprenticeship and the ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Experience with auto body repair methods and tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with attention to quality.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace or repair structural parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and ensure repairs meet KPIs and customer expectations.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and safe operation.
