Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX. You will disassemble, assess, and repair vehicles, work with estimators to deliver a 100% repair plan, and reassemble vehicles after painting. The role requires 18+, valid license, and experience; I-CAR/ASE certifications are a plus. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan.
• Identify repairs to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedures following work orders.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, and components to access damaged areas.
• Repair body damage, fit parts, and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools including welder and spray guns.
• Finish surfaces before handing to Paint Dept.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and test drive for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with SOPs, safety rules and guidelines.
