Job summary

DARCARS Collision Center of Prince George's County is hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. The role focuses on repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components according to manufacturer specs and time standards, with experience-based pay opportunities up to around $100,000+ per year.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred.
• CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check).

Responsibilities

• Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail.
• Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials.
• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations.
