Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring a Collision Repair Technician in Arlington, Texas. You will examine damaged vehicles, plan and execute repairs, and coordinate with the team to keep jobs on time. The role requires hands-on craft skills and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have frame machine experience, body repair certification (preferred), and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes. Strong leadership helps guide apprentices on complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related components to access vehicle areas.
• Attends required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces using power/hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed.
