Job summary

Crash Champions in Mountain View, CA is seeking an experienced auto body technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and coordinate with the shop team to maintain on-time status.

You will perform quality repairs, interpret measuring data, and supervise apprentices as needed. Certification in body repair preferred; I-CAR welding certified a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a frame machine.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes.
• Communicate repair status with teammates throughout the job.
• Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status.
• Decide between repair and replacement based on safety, cost and cycle time.
• Supervise apprentices when needed and explain procedures.
