Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align frames, replace parts, and ensure work meets KPIs while upholding the brand promise. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical program or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Welds and fits parts; prepares and repaints vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
