Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Huntington, WV to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence across repairs.

Responsibilities include planning repair work, estimating costs, realigning chassis, replacing parts, welding and repainting, and inspecting finished work for adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, attach, and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or agreed-upon standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles for quality after repair.
• Perform related duties as assigned and ensure safety in a noisy environment.
