Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble while preserving speed, quality, and customer excellence in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include planning repair work, using shop tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, and painting to set standards. You’ll work with teammates to meet KPIs and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Experience with body repair tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform vehicle repairs to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles safely.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged parts and install glass or interiors.
• Weld and refinish with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect results.
