Crash Champions is seeking a Regular Full-Time technician to inspect damaged vehicles and plan the repair process. You will work with the team to communicate vehicle status, perform quality repairs, and decide between repair or replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, directing apprentices, and ensuring safety standards. A background check is required, with certifications in body repair preferred and I-CAR welding certification advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Experience using a frame machine and performing body repairs.
• Certification in body repair preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• ICAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze measuring data accurately.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass thorough background check.

Aufgaben

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related parts to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentice on tasks and procedures.
