Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan and execute high-quality repairs, and maintain on-time status. You will communicate with the team, decide repairs versus replacements, and guide apprentices as needed. A focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement is essential.

The role includes using frame machines and performing welding per I-CAR standards, with opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding MSO network.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical and related components to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings and adheres to safety policies.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentice in task performance and explains procedures.
