Job summary

Jobtailor in Thomasville, NC is seeking an experienced auto body repair technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and ensure on-time completion. You will supervise apprentices, remove upholstery and components to access areas, and perform quality repairs while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications include frame machine operation, I-CAR welding certification, body repair certification (preferred), knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, and the ability to analyze measuring

Responsibilities

• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicles and fenders.
• Participate in required safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Direct an apprentice’s work when needed and explain procedures.
