Job summary

Jobtailor in Huntley, IL is seeking an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, plan repair work, and prepare accurate cost estimates for customers. You will use a range of tools to repair body sections, remove dents, realign chassis, and replace damaged parts, including glass and windshields.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
