Gerber Collision & Glass in Florida is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while meeting speed, quality, and customer-excellence goals.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and completion of a technical program or apprenticeship. You will work with cutting tools, welds, and paints, and collaborate with other technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles for pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, and hammers.
• Replace damaged sections and restore structural integrity.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality standards.
