Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Orlando, FL is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning to KPIs and serving as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

You will work with a team to plan repairs, estimate costs, and ensure high standards of speed, quality, and customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using tools such as cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
