Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and coordinate status with teammates to ensure on-time completion. You will use a frame machine, apply manufacturer repair knowledge, and supervise apprentices while maintaining safety and quality.

This role is paid on a commission/flag-rate basis with a posted salary range of $69,680 to $180,000 per year and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience using a frame machine and performing structural repairs.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred or required.
• Ability to read measuring data and translate into repair actions.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and guide apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety and cost.
• Remove upholstery and components to access areas.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Finish surfaces with sanding and grinding.
• Direct work of an apprentice and instruct on procedures.
