Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled auto body technician for our Colorado Springs site. You will inspect damaged frames, plan repairs, and perform quality repairs to restore vehicles efficiently.

You will coordinate with the shop team and supervise assistants to ensure safety and accuracy. The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification preferred, and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Ability to use frame machine.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with team on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
