Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an automotive body shop assistant in Milpitas, CA to support the lead body tech with teardown, parts handling and light repairs.

This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods and follow directions from supervisors. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work full-time 40 hours per week.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods and move self to fix and repair vehicles.
• Ability to effectively communicate and take direction from superiors.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead body tech with 100% tear down.
• Remove damaged components and assist in evaluation of damages.
• Assist with installation of new parts.
• Organize parts for repair orders.
• Assist with light body work.
