Auto Body Technician

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced auto body repair technician to assess damaged vehicles, plan efficient repair sequences, and coordinate with the shop team to keep jobs on schedule. You will supervise apprentices when needed, perform high-quality repairs, decide between repair or replacement based on safety and cost, and ensure access for repairs by removing components as required.

Certification in body repair and I-CAR welding credentials are preferred, along with knowledge of manufacturer

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I‑CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.
