Job Description

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for assessing and repairing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition, ensuring speed, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles in alignment with company KPIs and representing the brand professionally.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use various tools for repairs.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler, realign chassis, replace damaged parts, and repair glass and interiors.
• Weld, attach, and paint vehicles as per specifications.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read job orders and work independently.
• Teamwork skills and understanding of vehicle repair methods.
• Proficiency with necessary tools.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work safely in a noisy environment with odors.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
• Inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat as needed.

Compensation
