Job summary

DARCARS Collision Center of Baltimore is hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to repair damaged vehicle bodies and components per manufacturer standards. This role offers a pathway for a long-term automotive career with competitive compensation based on experience.

You will perform repairs, maintain tools, and meet productivity targets while complying with all regulations. This position emphasizes high-quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork in a busy collision repair setting.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred.
• CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance efficiently.
• Team-oriented with ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards
• De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail
• Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials
• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know)
