Job summary

B Street Collision in Omaha, NE is seeking a hands-on Shop Manager to lead daily auto body operations from the shop floor. You’ll drive teamwork, safety, and quality while partnering with an Office Manager to ensure clear communication from front desk to the shop.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the auto body / automotive / dealership industry.
• Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, bend and manage car parts in excess of 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Hands-on leadership in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Majority of time spent in shop leading from an eyes-on-production mindset
• Partner with a Office manager to ensure excellent communication from the front door to shop floor
• Implementing and holding employees accountable to policies outlined in B Street Employee Manual
• Identify, create, and maintain positive culture in a team
• Take part and ensure quality control checks are being completed
• Ensure employees meeting safety and OSHA standards
• Assuring all necessary leases, licenses, and permits are current and in place
• Interviewing, selecting, and training of employees
• Utilize a variety of management and estimating systems
• Understands business financials and meet financial goals
• Spend time training in each department before taking on Store Manager responsibilities to ensure you are set up for success as a leader and fully understand all facets of business

HERE ARE OUR NON-NEGOTIABLES

• Maintain a Monday - Friday 6:45am - 5:00pm schedule
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the auto body / automotive / dealership industry, or relatable field preferred but not required. We will teach and train the right candidate.
• Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, bend and manage car parts in excess of 50 pounds
• You must have a valid driver's license
