Job summary

The Boyd Group in Chattanooga is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident conditions. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble with skilled use of cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, and welding equipment while ensuring speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, and work to meet KPIs as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group. A technical education or apprenticeship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with common auto body repair tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute repair work to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Weld and fit parts, and repaint vehicles with factory-specified or equivalent finishes.
• Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Work toward KPIs and support the WOW plan as a brand ambassador.
