Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously assess and repair vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition with speed, quality and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. Must work safely in a busy shop and lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders; work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses tools to repair sections.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins when needed; realigns chassis.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts; welds and fits parts; preps and repaints to standards.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
