Job summary

Bob Weaver Auto is seeking an Auto Body Estimator Apprentice at our Bob Weaver Collision Center in Pottsville, PA. This full-time role offers comprehensive training and paid estimator courses to help you earn while you learn.

Join a large, highly-rated collision facility that emphasizes customer service, quality repairs, and a strong team culture. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with opportunities for advancement within our dealer network.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience required, with parts knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including web-based programs and fast typing.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform accurate calculations.
• Valid PA Driver’s License is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Life Cycle of a Claim: Understand the full life cycle of a claim from start to finish.
• Customer Service: Develop and implement customer service processes to improve satisfaction.
• Vehicle Management: Check in and deliver vehicles, ensuring procedures are followed.
• Repair Plan Review: Review repair plans and contribute to proper repair planning.
• Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate estimates per insurance partner and company guidelines.
• Schedule Management: Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after repairs.
• Effective Communication: Maintain daily communication with technicians, insurers, and customers.

What You'll Do

As an Auto Body Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our collision repair processes run smoothly and efficiently. We will provide comprehensive training to help you succeed, including:

• Life Cycle of a Claim: Understand the full life cycle of a claim from beginning to end.
• Customer Service: Develop and implement customer service processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Vehicle Management: Check in and deliver vehicles, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
• Repair Plan Review: Review repair plans and participate in developing proper repair plans for each vehicle.
• Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate estimates in accordance with insurance partner and company guidelines.
• Schedule Management: Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after the completion of repairs.
• Effective Communication: Maintain excellent communication with auto body technicians, insurance companies, and customers on a daily basis.

Your Qualifications

Bring your automotive expertise and customer service skills, along with:

• Automotive experience required, with parts knowledge, technician, or collision knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with web-based programs and fast typing abilities.
• Strong math skills and a knack for accurate calculations.
• Professional personality and appearance.
• Valid PA Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
