Job summary

Heiser Automotive Group in Wisconsin seeks an Auto Body Estimator with a customer-focused mindset and an eye for detail. You will greet customers, assess repair needs, and manage the process from insurance communications through final delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of relevant experience, valid WI driver’s license, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced shop environment. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid and clean WI Driver's License.
• Previous auto body shop experience a plus.
• Ability to function as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
• Estimate cost of labor and parts and prepare estimates.
• Work with Insurance Companies regarding repairs.
• Evaluate practicality of repair versus vehicle market value before damage.

Overview of Position

Heiser has an immediate opening for a quality-minded Auto Body Estimator. This position will greet customers and quickly assess their needs understanding the difficulty of their situation. The estimator follows the job through the entire process from initial greeting and handling all insurance related communications, overseeing parts ordering, keeping customers updated through the process and quality controls the vehicle through repairs to the final delivery. We are seeking a professional individual who demonstrates strong customer service skills, is detail and quality oriented, and has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.
