Gerber Collision & Glass in Seattle, WA invites applicants for a hands-on 30-day trial to qualify for an 18-month Technician Development Program. Trainees work alongside experienced technicians, learn auto body repair basics, and gain insight into dent removal, sanding, and painting.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and progressive skill-building in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates are 18+, able to lift 50 lb, and committed to learning, with preferred but not required on-the-job

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods in the repair of a vehicle.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
