Job summary

Sedgwick in the United States is seeking a Claims Examiner, Auto | Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex auto bodily injury and related transport claims. You will review coverage, conduct investigations, determine liability, and evaluate damages to support timely resolutions for clients and insureds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in claims management or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification is a plus.
• State adjusting licenses required or pursued where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto, commercial, and personal-line bodily injury claims; ensures proper documentation and coding.
• Handles litigation on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management, including independent adjusters.
• Reports large claims to excess carriers.
• Develops action plans to meet deadlines and move files to resolution.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; handles salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Performs other duties and supports quality programs.
