Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent with in-depth knowledge of auto policies and liability.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto bodily injury claims, including personal and commercial lines, with proper documentation.
• Manages litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management and independent adjusters for investigations.
• Reports large claims to excess carriers.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; handles salvage disposition.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker where appropriate.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
